Dawg Days of Summer
Second weekend in August.  Family oriented festival featuring arts & crafts, a street concert, charity bingo, pet show, kid activities, homemade ice cream contest, classic car show, local entertainment, and food galore. 

Pioneer Day
Saturday, May 10, 2008.  Celebrate the beauty of acoustic instruments and learn about their history and prevalence in the South.  Campfire Cooking, Candle Making, Basket Weaving, Tombigbee Pioneers, Plenty of Fun, Open Stage for Acoustical Bands, and lots more.  Support pioneer style arts and crafts in Mississippi.  Call (662) 547-9464 for more information.

Harvest Festival
9:00 a.m., Saturday, October 11, 2008.  The Harvest Festival is known for its famous Quilt Auction featuring beautiful quilts hand stiched by Mississippi quilters, opportunities to bid on needlework, wood crafts and ceramics, as well as delicious home-grown products, homemade jams and jellies.  An old fashioned dinner-on-the-ground will begin at noon.  Folks are encouraged to bring their favorite picnic dish and place it on the table with the others.  Concessions will also be available.  For more information, please contact French Camp Academy at (662) 547-9464.

A Bluegrass Christmas
6:00 p.m., Saturday, December 6, 2007.  Annual Bluegrass Concert featuring multiple headline entertainers performing to benefit the local Christian Way United charity.  Ring in the Christmas season while supporting a good cause.  For i nformation, call (662)-285-3778

Ackerman Christmas Parade
6:00 p.m., Thursday, December 4, 2007.  The official kickoff of the holiday season Christmas floats, marching bands, antique cars, and even Santa Claus.  All the usual parade antics march down Main Street celebrating the season and the fellowship of each other.  Come early to get a good seat, for this event is a favorite.  Call (662) 285-6251 or (662) 285-3778
